With a fond farewell to hounds-tooth (which may have overstayed its visit in the fashion and design world), I’m ready to admit that I’ve moved on and am borderline obsessed with chevron patterns right now. For those not in cahoots with the textile world, chevron is an inverted V-shaped pattern that boasts a long history dating back to the days of ancient pottery. It’s a design of elegance and simplicity and I’m really hoping this trend doesn’t get so saturated it goes the way of the antler.
