I’ve been in the interior design world since 2000 when I made a cross-your-fingers-and-leap decision to trade in my cushy 9-5 office job for a life I truly love. Since graduating from a masters program in northern California, I had gone from non-profit do-gooder to corporate sell out but packed every moment of my free time with interior design magazines and HGTV. Finally, my passion for design won out and I took the plunge (and a 75% pay cut), started interning with a successful interior designer and never looked back.
Today I live in a cottage full of powdery blues and cream trim in the heart of San Francisco where you’ll typically find me leashed to two ridiculously small and spoiled dogs. With an easy escape hatch to the wine country, my creativity is renewed amongst the vineyards of Sonoma and Napa. While fashion, art, and 1940s Parisian antiques continue to fuel my design inspirations, I’m no stranger to lazy brunches on the Bay, trashy mystery novels and a hearty helping of reality television.
I am honored to have been acknowledged by the industry’s leading home and shelter magazines. In 2010, I was named one of the “Top 20 Designers to Watch” by House Beautiful, featured in In Style magazine , and showcased in the San Francisco Chronicle. I have also been lucky enough to gain recognition from my peers in the esteemed interior design blogs of Decorati, House of Turquoise, Apartment Therapy and more.
